Small Bale
A Tough, Economical Horse Feeder
The concept behind the Small Bale was simple. Design an economical, farm tough horse feeder for multiple feed types. And oh yeah, it needs to reduce waste and save you—the horse lover—money.
Well, here it is. A bunk-style grain pan is perfect for loose feeds (and it catching fallen hay). And feed is kept drier with four drain holes on the corners of the trough. Plus, the hay rack holds up to 6 small square bales (or one large bale on largest model) meaning more nutrition for your horses at less cost to you.
As with all our feeders, the Small Bale is also built to last decades in the field. And you can count on this feeder’s solid steel construction and high-quality welding for rough farm use for years to come.
Love Your Feeder—Almost As Much As Your Horses
Your horses are family—and they deserve the very best. Which is why Farmco horse feeders are constructed from heavy-duty 12 gauge steel, held together with top-quality welds and electrostatically painted with weather-resistant polyurethane paints that look great and protect your feeder for decades in the field.
The Small Bale also comes standard with:
1/8” steel rectangle tubing frame built for tough farming conditions.
3/8” steel rod hay basket easily handles a full load of bales.
32” wide, 12-gauge steel trough in lengths up to 8’ for feeding grain and reducing hay waste.
24” formed steel legs support feeder for decades to come. (For shorter models check out the Mini Feeder.)
